A young girl undertakes a dangerous journey with her uncle to escape from German occupied Guernsey. She is sent to a village in Somerset where she makes friends with other evacuees. However her troubles are not over, the Germans follow her to her new home. How will Suzie escape? She is joined in Applebrook village by another evacuee, Pete from Portsmouth. He is determined to make trouble for everyone. How will it all end?
