Also included is a list of Bible questions for children that Edwards expected his young people to know. For the most part, these messages focus on the importance of obedience, discipline, and seeking God.
About the Author
Jonathan Edwards was born in 1703. He pastored the church at Northampton, Massachusetts before being removed by the congregation. He also was pastor to an American Indian congregation at Stockbridge where he did most of his writing. Edwards accepted the presidency of the College of New Jersey (now known as Princeton University), but died from a smallpox vaccination only a week after taking office.
